Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds large shrimp, shelled and deveined
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon fresh cracked pepper
- ⅓ cup Clebby’s Avocado Oil
- 4-6 garlic cloves, sliced
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ½ cup dry white wine
- ¼ cup butter
- ⅓ cup parsley, chopped
- 1 lemon, halved
- Cooked pasta or toasted bread, for serving
Directions
- Season shrimp with salt and freshly cracked pepper.
- Add Clebby’s Avocado Oil and sliced garlic to a large skillet. Heat over medium-low and saute until fully softened about 5 minutes. Once the edges turn golden, stir in red pepper flakes.
- Add seasoned shrimp and toss in the oil. Cook until the shrimp turns pink, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add white wine and let simmer to reduce, gently tossing the shrimp as it finishes cooking, about 2-3 minutes depending on the size. The shrimp will be opaque and curled when done.
- Once the shrimp are cooked, turn the heat off and add butter. Stir until the butter is melted and the sauce is thickened. Add chopped parsley and a squeeze of half a lemon, then season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Serve with cooked pasta or warm toasted bread.
Notes
