Rice Krispie Christmas Trees

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Clebby’s Avocado Oil
  • 15 ounces of mini marshmallows (about one and a half bags)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A few drops of green food coloring
  • 6 cups rice cereal
  • White chocolate, melted
  • Sprinkles
  • Pretzel sticks

Directions

  1. Grease a 10-inch circular springform pan with cooking spray.
  2. Heat Clebby’s Avocado Oil over medium-low heat in a large non-stick pot. Stir in mini marshmallows and let gently melt until smooth, stirring occasionally.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in salt, vanilla extract, and a couple drops of green food coloring until your desired color is achieved.
  4. Fold in the rice cereal until completely coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared springform pan and gently press it into an even layer.
  6. Let cool for about an hour.
  7. Remove the Rice Krispies from the pan and place them on a cutting board. Slice into 8 equal-sized wedges.
  8. Decorate with melted chocolate and sprinkles to resemble string lights. Place half of a pretzel stick in the bottom of the tree for the trunk.
