Ingredients
- 1 package Clebby’s Confetti Cake Mix
- ½ cup Clebby’s Vegetable Oil
- 2 eggs lightly beaten
- ⅔ cup water
- Cooking spray
- 1 package of vanilla candy melts
- Candy sticks
- Rainbow sprinkles
Frostin
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray.
- In a bowl, combine the bottle of included Clebby’s Vegetable Oil (½ cup) and eggs. Add the package of Clebby’s Confetti Cake Mix, alternating with the water until combined. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool completely, then crumble.
- In another large bowl, add softened butter. Use beaters to mix until smooth. Beat in the powdered sugar about a half cup at a time. Then mix in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Add the crumbled cake to the frosting. Beat until the cake is fully incorporated into the frosting.
- Use a cookie scoop to portion the dough, then roll into balls. Place the formed balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, then place them in the freezer to harden.
- Melt vanilla candy melts according to package directions, then pour into a tall glass.
- Dip the tip of a candy stick into the melted candy wafers, then stick it in the cake ball.
- Freeze the cake pops again if they get to room temperature, then begin dipping the cake pops in the melted candy wafers. Shake off any excess and sprinkle with rainbow sprinkles. Let harden and repeat with the remaining cake pops.
