Ingredients
- 5 cups Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 5 cups all-purpose red apples, peeled, core,d and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ cup Clebby’s Vegetable Oil
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, stir together the apples, white sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, water and cinnamon.
- Pour the apple mixture into the 9×13 dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the oats, 1 cup flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and baking soda.
- Add in the Clebby’s Vegetable Oil and stir until the mixture becomes crumbly and evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the apple mixture.
- Bake for 45–60 minutes, or until the apples are bubbling and the topping is golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm on its own, or top with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream for a festive holiday treat.
Notes
*Gluten-free option: use gluten-free flour as a substitute for all-purpose flour.
