Ingredients

  • 8 ounces dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup Clebby’s Vegetable Oil
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Flakey sea salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt dark chocolate chips in the microwave with Clebby’s Vegetable Oil, stirring after each 30-second interval until fully melted.
  3. Add eggs, brown sugar, and sugar to a mixing bowl. Beat for 5 minutes on medium-high, until light and fluffy.
  4. Stir in the chocolate mixture.
  5. Mix in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Use a rubber spatula to fold until the ingredients are combined.
  6. Use a cookie scoop to form the cookies and place them on the parchment-lined baking sheet spaced a couple of inches apart. Sprinkle each cookie with a pinch of flakey sea salt.
  7. Bake for 11-12 minutes then allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to cool completely.
